Revive and Rewrite CIC

About

A letter from the founder.

Revive & Rewrite CIC was created to bridge the gaps that too many working-class people fall through. We design innovative, accessible solutions that meet people where they are, remove barriers, and open doors to opportunities that should never feel out of reach. Our work is shaped by lived experience, community insight, and a belief that talent is everywhere. Opportunity isn’t. We exist to change that.

I grew up in Stockton-on-Tees in a working-class family.

I’ve seen, and lived, the ways disadvantage can swallow people whole, limit their potential, and make them believe they don’t have options. Too many people in our communities feel unseen, unsupported, or shut out by systems that weren’t built with them in mind.

Revive & Rewrite CIC was born from a simple belief.

Nobody’s future should be decided by their postcode, their upbringing, or the barriers around them.

I wanted to build something for Teesside that was real, accessible, and grounded. Something that met people at their level instead of expecting them to elevate without support. Using my background in psychology and my postgraduate study in strategic management and planning, I brought together education, lived experience, and a lot of heart to create a space where people can grow, feel understood, and see what’s possible for themselves.

Revive & Rewrite is my way of giving back to the community that raised me. By helping others revive their confidence, rewrite their stories, and move toward the futures they deserve.
